Annapolis Alive! Travel through Three Amazing Centuries will be first major public event in 2008 to celebrate the signing of Annapolis’ charter. This three-hour cocktail party will feature top name celebrities in the brand new section of Westfield Annapolis. Meet Baltimore Raven Matt Stover (7-8 p.m.), share sailing adventure stories with Annapolis Sailing hero Gary Jobson, enjoy a concert with nationally known Ram’s Head favorite Leon Redbone (reserved seating available, 9 p.m. concert), and unwind with the local R&B group, Raw Hands.
For only $25.00 ADVANCE PURCHASE, your ticket price includes: musical entertainment and a concert, the once in a life-time opportunity to meet and greet sports celebrities and the best of Annapolis food samplings provided by McCormick and Schmick's, The Main Ingredient, Noodles & Company, and Phillips Seafood Restaurants. Beer, wine and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
The evening will be accented by exhibits thatcommemorateAnnapolis’ success over the past 300 years. Among thesedisplays will be: Annapolis art, photography, maritime & culture. St. John's College, the Annapolis Maritime Museum and photos by The Annapolis Collection will also be a part of the festivities. Special shopping will be offered in the new annex with select stores staying open for the event with discounts available.

The Chesapeake Children’s Museum hosts this event at Center Court. The party will feature interactive history activities with plenty of come-to-life characters. Period refreshments and dance lessons will also be provided.
