In 2008, everyone will discover what it means to be Annapolitan! Here, where history is still created daily, Annapolis Alive! New Year’s Eve kicks off a joyful year long celebration to launch the Charter 300 Commemorative Year. This wonderful musical evening along Main Street and Maryland Avenue — where many shops are open until late evening — will be topped off by the magnificent fireworks display we’ve all come to love at midnight, courtesy of BankAnnapolis.
This totally free evening of music and camaraderie, street performers and food vendors, brings together all Annapolitans in a New Year’s Eve Celebration sure to be full of warm memories. No tickets, no lining up, just great accessible fun!*

around the region. The ensemble’s repertoire spans a century of
American popular music, from Irving Berlin, to the Beach Boys,
to holiday classics, all arranged in an accompanied four-part close

9:15 - 10 p.m. - Tori Tullier Band Winner of four awards in the 2007 Battle of the Bands, the soulful pop group features singer/songwriter Tori Tullier. The band plays all original songs with a lead
piano backed by bass player and cousin Allison Tullier, violinist
Katie Haney, and drummer Lucas Johnson.

musical tribute to George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic will shake the cobwebs out of 2007 to bring
universal love to us all in 2008. Vocalists
Wesley Beann and Lamont “Scrape” Randall and vocalist and keyboard
player Gene McBride are joined by guitarist Gerard “Hot Rod” Butler,
bass player Terre Holland, horn by Jerry Queen and Michael Powell.
Drummer Mark Brown rounds out the group.

Remember that Ego Alley is closed for construction. If you come by boat, you won't be able to dock at City Dock.

Limited shuttles for Special Needs Riders after the fireworks from midnight to 1 AM from City Dock area.
During the New Year's Eve holiday, Annapolis Transit will operate on its Sunday schedule. Only the Brown and Gold Routes and
Navy Blue Shuttle will be in operation. All service will end at 7:00 p.m.
