Dear Fellow Annapolitan,
There's no better place to be tonight to ring in Annapolis Alive's New Year of celebration year than right in downtown Annapolis!
Annapolis Alive! has put together events for all ages beginning with children's programs at 3 p.m. today.
Many downtown shops will be open late, strolling street performers will be present on Main Street and Maryland Avenue, and there will be an eclectic mix of music on two stages on Main Street and a venue on Maryland Avenue.
Rock the Rec will give teens a place to enjoy their own music.
The evening ends with a procession down Main Street to Market Space — led by bagpipers — and a countdown to midnight led by Mayor Ellen Moyer.
Our radio show will resume on Tuesday, January 8, at 2 p.m. on 1430 WNAV.
