Annapolis Alive! News - September 27, 2007
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Fellow Annapolitan,
chuck weikelCome dance with the Queen! This Sunday, Sept. 30, the Queen Anne Ball, an Annapolis Alive! signature event, will officially kick off the celebration of 300th anniversary of Annapolis' Royal Charter in a festive way. Dignitaries from around the world are expected to come to the Loews Annapolis Hotel for a dinner dance featuring a “Colonial Cornucopia” of flavors from the colonial kitchen, interpreted for today's tastes and trends.
Over 50 talented artists have donated extraordinary pieces for a silent auction that will be held in conjunction with the Ball.
Dress is black tie or festive colonial costume and tickets are still available. For information about the Ball, unique menu, and the silent auction, read more below and see the Annapolis Alive! website. I hope to see you at the Ball!
Sincerely,
chuck
